Registration is Now Open!

Registration is open for the 2019 NAE4-HA Conference at The Greenbrier Resort. Register now to get the best rate for the conference. A great line up of professional development seminars and workshops are planned. Furthermore, Jim Harris, Ed.D,, MSW is scheduled to be the keynote speaker and Michelle Cummings, the capnote speaker.


Bring your family along for this once in a lifetime experience at America’s Resort! Family registration is FREE – if family will be attending conference meals and events, these will need to be purchased a la carte. Family can attend the exhibitor hall and the friends and family hospitality suite for free! How to Register for Mountains of Opportunity

Member Rates:


The registration rates are based on the following schedule:

Early: $475 from May 15 to July 31

Regular: $550 from August 1 to August 31

Late: $600 from September 1 to September 30

On-site: $650 from October 1 to October 7

We’ve also added the option to buy printed conference proceedings for $25.  


Seminar on Wheels


Be sure to select a Pre- or Post- Conference Seminar on Wheels during registration! These are purchased individually and not part of the overall registration package. This year these events will be on the Sunday before and the Friday immediately following the conference. For more information about each seminar – visit the website or see a complete seminar description during registration.

Pre-Conference Seminars for Sunday, November 3rd

Seminar #1: Fruits of Labor Recovery Program - $35 includes lunch buffet. Explore this nationally certified farm-to-table culinary and agriculture program for at risk youth and adults recovering from addiction.


Seminar #2: West Virginia Underground Coal Mine & Tamarack Tour - $50 includes dinner voucher. Take step back into West Virginia history on a tour of the underground coal mine, and visit the Tamarack and experience “The Best of West Virginia” with items created by WV artisans.

Seminar #3: Greenbank Observatory and Skynet Junior Scholars - $50 includes boxed lunch. Learn about The Skynet Junior Scholars 4-H Project Book and tour the world’s largest fully steerable radio telescope at the Greenbank Observatory.

Seminar #4: Summit Bechtel Reserve – Cost varies depending on option selected. Visit the permanent home of the Boy Scouts of America’s National Jamboree. This adventure center serves as a training and Scouting facility for millions of youth and adults. During registration, select one of the following options.

Option 1Experience Adventure Course – Canopy Tour, Cost $120

Includes the 1 hour and 15-minute canopy tour and unlimited time on the climbing wall and laser range.

Option 2Experience Adventure Course – Zipline, Cost $100

Includes the 1-hour ziplining adventure and unlimited time on the climbing wall and laser range.

Option 3: Shooting Sports Experience, Cost $62



Post-Conference Seminar for Friday, November 8th

Seminar #5: Spirits of Southern West Virginia - Cost: $45, includes catered lunch. Visit three local businesses, a cidery, a brewing company, and a distillery, that have brought flavor as well as economic boom to the local economy.
