Mountains of Opportunity | 2019 Conference Nov 3-7, 2019 | White Sulphur Springs, WV

National Association of Extension 4-H Agents

Happy West Virginia Day! In West Virginia, we are full of pride for our state, culture, and our traditions. We would like to invite you to consider where to dine with your colleagues for States Night Out set for November 6th of the 2019 NAE4-HA Conference.

There are several options for States Night Out that include:

  • Stay at The Greenbrier and enjoy one of their many options - http://www.greenbrier.com/Dining/Restaurant-Collection/Dinner-Options
  • Make a reservation at one of the area restaurants in Lewisburg, a 20-minute drive from the Greenbrier, who are interested in hosting your group. These restaurants have offered to do two seating times in an effort to accommodate multiple states visiting the town. Area shops and galleries on Lewisburg’s main street also plan to remain open for shopping and exploring during the evening hours.
  • Make a reservation at one of two restaurants in White Sulphur Springs, a 5-10 drive from The Greenbrier.
  • Choose a chain restaurant in Lewisburg. Visit https://greenbrierwv.com/categories/food-and-drinks/restaurants for options.

If you are concerned about transportation to Lewisburg, please note that our transportation committee will be in contact with your state about options.

In addition to dining out, there is an opportunity to see a musical at the Greenbrier Valley Theatre titled, “The Greenbrier Ghost” (address: 1038 Washington Street E Lewisburg, WV 24901; website https://www.gvtheatre.org The Theatre will open on Wednesday, November 6th for a 7:30 pm show of their running production for our conference attendees. Any states interested in attending the musical should reserve early seating for dinner.
